| WELCOME This is the homepage of the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC). By our established culture, the Commission is more than pleased to have you as a guest and visitor to our website. GAEC has opened its "doors and windows" to the entire public and the world at large at a promising and challenging time. Promising because a broad spectrum of opportunities in science and technology have been "opened" unto the research institutes of the Commission, positioning them at the frontiers of science and technology to meet the nations immediate and long term research and development needs in our core mission areas of nuclear science applications to agriculture, energy, health and environment. Challenging because funding for R&D both locally and internationally has become even more competitive. GAEC is pursuing a performance-based vision to achieve its prime objectives as defined in its Parliamentary Act 588. It is the committed vision of GAEC to become a Centre of Excellence employing nuclear energy as a tool to provide world-class science, technology and service products with customer and stakeholder satisfaction in the region. more ... | | NEWS & EVENTS
